|  Tony Novak-Clifford is a self-described photo-nerd. "I love what I do... I try to bring that enthusiasm to the set of each & every assignment." Food photography evolved out of my love of food... cooking... eating. Fortune would have it that the Hawaiian Regional Cuisine movement was just underway during the early days of my career and I found myself in just the right place at just the right time. A love of architecture and interior design evolved into more doors opening, this time to the luxury of Hawaii's most prestigous resorts and homes of the rich & famous as I was invited in to photograph these spaces of privilege. The music subjects were naturals... a frustrated guitarist myself, the camera has been my backstage pass and opportunity to meet many of the heroes of my misspent youth. Always hungry for new experience and the opportunity to travel, again, the camera has allowed access to places and people I might not have otherwise visited. I've been at this now for over twenty years. Rare is the day that I don't learn something new, meet someone interesting or take inspiration from the things around me.
